The Who's Quadrophenia is my favourite record of all time. After that it's dirty old music, blues, jazz, country, dirty RAWK'n'ROLL, hellacious bubblegum'n'broken glass pop, cheesy shit, some world music and loooooooads more. I'm waaaay into The Shins at the moment and a COOL-as new Adelaide band called Taught By Animals too.

Alien scared the pants off me as a kid but I dig the original King Kong, old horror/monster/sci fi, David Lynch, Scorsese, Coen Brothers, Hal Hartley, Russ Meyer, Peter Jackson, Hitchcock, Kubrick, Truffaut, crime Noir, Tarantino (oh how original), Velvet Goldmine, Deer Hunter, The Indian Runner, Little Shop Of Horrors, Perdita Durango, Peter Jackson, Dick Dale's Trasharama, John Waters, Mike Leigh, cool 70s American, gnarly Australian and gritty Brit as well as foreign flicks (mmm Malena).
