Reading, Writing, Watching TV/Movies, hanging out with friends and family. Staying forever young!
Tough one....I've already met my literary idols. Nora Roberts, Jayne Ann Krentz, Robert Crais--who I could sit and stare at for hours because he's such a hottie...and Lee Child who is as nice a person as you'll ever meet. I've also had the pleasure of meeting Lisa Gardner, Allison Brennan, and Cornelia Read. (google them if you don't know who they are)
As for musical people: Barry Manilow because he's so awe-inspiring and yes, I'm a big fan (no gagging allowed please)...Tim McGraw because I could stare at him forever too.
Movie or TV: Mel Gibson because he's so cute and looks like so much fun to hang with...Sean Connery for the same reasons (although I don't know about the hanging out part) George Clooney, Dave Letterman, hmmm these are all men....uh..yep! Of the female species, Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, Sandra Bullock...I'm sure there's more.
Of course I'll likely never meet any of these people, so, realistically I'd like to meet people who have a silly sense of humor, who don't take themselves too too seriously, who like to sing along to the radio, play board games, aren't tooo competitive, don't drink to excess, don't judge other people and enjoy hanging out with friends. Romantic Suspense Novels (Currently looking for a home)
FORGET ME NOT
The romance is hot and the suspense high in Forget Me Not. Terri Molina has crafted characters you'll care about from the very first page and a plot that will keep you guessing till the last. Don't miss this delicious read.
Michelle Martinez, NYT Best-selling Author When Cassandra Medrano, a romance novelist who writes under the pen name Casey Martin, receives photographs of a recent murder, it becomes evident that a killer is stalking her. Over the last six years, thirteen Hispanic women, whose appearances share an eerie similarity to Casey's, have been found raped, mutilated, and murdered—all with the shredded remains of one of Casey's books at their side. When the FBI insists she leave New York, Casey does what she swore she would never do-- returns to her hometown, Rosehill, Texas. Her pretentious demeanor and stubborn determination clash with Detective Scott Weller, the officer assigned as her bodyguard.
When Casey is attacked in her home, Scott places her into hiding in his apartment to keep her safe, but living in such close quarters leads to temptation he finds hard to resist. Scott soon realizes that Casey has more than one stalker and when evidence shows the killer is in town, he must race against time to stop Casey from becoming the final victim.
DARK OBSESSION
..
Something is coming. Something big. This is the foreboding message given to Ray Chavez by his long deceased great-grandmother. But Ray, a 33 year old farmer from the Rio Grande Valley, does not believe in visions or omens or the necromancy of his Mexican/Indian heritage. Although, Ray feels he's doing his part by humoring his sister Sylvia, a practicing Spiritualist, and his grandmother Maria, a non-practicing Curandero, he ultimately dismisses the vision as a bad dream.
However Ray may reconsider his position when Lexie Solis stumbles into town, in search of a new life. Ray feels an instant attraction, as well as a connection, to the skittish young woman, and he pursues a relationship with her. But what Lexie does not tell Ray and his family, is that she is running from an abusive ex-boyfriend and he may be more powerful then even she wants to believe.
When Lexie is assaulted by an unseen force, they soon learn that Jerry Kemp's obsession with Lexie goes beyond his need to control her; he wants to possess her soul as well. Lexie's only hope for salvation lies with Ray. But will he be able to embrace his destiny to save the woman he loves as well as his own soul? ..
I love all kinds of music except Rap and Heavy Metal.
Anything that isn't bloody, gory, or predictable. Movies that make me laugh out loud or cry.
the programs on Court TV, City Confidential (A&E) Law & Order SVU, Crossing Jordan, Lost, Bones, House
Anything by Nora Roberts, Jayne Ann Krentz, Jennifer Crusie, P.J Mellor....Okay...Romance! I also LOVE Lisa Gardner, Robert Crais, Dean Koontz and John Saul. There are many more, but you'd get bored.
My hero would be my family...that slew of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins I mentioned in my bio. Had it not been for their love, support, and encouragement I'd proably be dead now. Also my husband and children, whose love, support and encouragement keeps me getting up in the mornings...albeit much older and grayer.
