This Guy's Koo-Koo for Comicbooks!

About Me

I'm the Editor-in-Chief of a new graphic novel publisher called Papercutz (www.papercutz.com -- we currently publish TALES FROM THE CRYPT, NANCY DREW, THE HARDY BOYS, CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED, and CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED DELUXE!), and a trustee on the board of the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (www.moccany.org). Because MoCCA and Papercutz are both new ventures, it's vitally important to get the word out about how wonderful they both are. Not just to comicbook fans, but to everyone who enjoys pop culture. And that's why I'm here -- to spread the word. To get more people, such as YOU, aware that great comics exist and are out there waiting just for YOU!

My Interests

Almost anything related to comic art and comics history. And my never-ending ballroom dance lessons. Check out www.dancingforanimals.org for more info!

I'd like to meet:

I'm always looking for people who are interested in volunteering for the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art! We need you to make this wonderful organization even more wonderful.

Music:

I seem to listen to a lot of Leonard Cohen lately, although I have picked up the new CDs from Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Alice Cooper, and the Tiger Lilies. Also been enjoying Hogzilla-- live at various venues around NYC.

Movies:

I don't really have favorites, but when pressed to name a favorite movie I'll mention both The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and The Long Goodbye. I was also very happy with Spider-Man movies.

Television:

Hard to watch much, but my current favorite is The Wire. I also enjoy Curb Your Enthusiasm, Flight of the Conchords, and Dexter. And if I get home early enough, I try to catch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.

Books:

There are so many great books I hope to read, that I doubt if I'll live long enough to read most of 'em.

Heroes:

Stan Lee and Andy Warhol
