About Me

You're probably wondering why I didn't pick a religion. Or you're probably not wondering at all, but now that I mentioned it, you're curious. Or maybe you're not curious but now that I -- okay, I digress. Anyway, I follow more than one and there's no name for that (as far as I know). I was raised reformed Jewish but also follow Irish Catholicism, Buddhism, and Wiccan-Paganism. I believe we have a Holy Father *and* a Holy Mother. Can't have one without the other if you want to create life!Take the quiz:
Which Lost girl are you?

You are Kate, a fugitive from the law. Kate always tries to help out on the island whether it be getting water or searching for missing people. Kate seems to be a bit torn between Jack, the doctor, and Sawyer, the jackass.

You scored as Buddhism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Buddhism. Do more research on Buddhism and possibly consider becoming Buddhist, if you are not already. In Buddhism, there are Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering. (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of reality and the craving, attachment, and grasping that result from such ignorance. (3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right contemplation. These eight are usually divided into three categories that base the Buddhist faith: morality, wisdom, and samadhi, or concentration. In Buddhism, there is no hierarchy, nor caste system; the Buddha taught that one's spiritual worth is not based on birth.

Which Action Hero Would You Be? v. 2.0
created with QuizFarm.com Which Greek Creature are you? (pics..detailed..etc)
You are a Water Nymph! Whether it's in thunderstorms, or swimming in rivers or the ocean, you love it. You probably have a great connection with society or your friends, and are a loving, helpful creature. Just as the ocean can be calm and breathtaking, your talents are unique and are a blessing to those around you. But sometimes the ocean is dark, myserious, or stormy, which also reflect your emotions. Role- They were depicted as beautiful maidens, often riding on the backs of Hippokampoi (Fish-tailed horses), Ketoi (Sea-monsters) or dolphins.Symbols- water (naw, really?!, seashells, nymphs, helpers of Poseidon. Story- There are several different types of Nymphs in Greek Mythology, but they are usually helpers and assistants to the gods. Nymphs had the divine power of changing the shape of things, and were agressive lovers. Nymphs are always with their companions (which is why you are so social) and were kind to sailors in trouble (which is why you are so nice).

You are Kate. Breathtakingly beautiful, seemingly pure of heart, and you can even sew your own curtains! You listen to Patsy Cline anywhere and know how to work a farm. Your past haunts you. An accused criminal, are you innocent or guilty? The only thing thing we know you're guilty of is not giving Charlie the attention he needs.

My Interests

Reading, writing, religion, philosophy, music, shooting the breeze, magic, Neopets, pro wrestling, Googling (and lately, Wikipeding!), learning and having fun without hurting anyone!

I'd like to meet:

People who are open-minded, thoughtful, and creative -- or at least appreciative of those who are. I'm all about conversation and don't want to hear about what you just read...I want to know what you *think*! Well, as long as you are a benevolent (as opposed to mean-spirited) person with a good heart and sense of humor, we should get along fine.

Music:

I love...(take a deep breath)...Tori Amos, Matthew Sweet, Caroline Boehmer, Nine Inch Nails, the Monkees, Simon & Garfunkel, Carole King, Hold For Swank, Smashing Pumpkins, Jeff Buckley, Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, Matchbox Twenty (before Rob Thomas did his lame solo career), Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Avril Lavigne, Lindsay Lohan, Yaz Takagi, Bryan Adams, Eric Clapton, Alanis Morissette, Paula Cole, Melissa Etheridge, Sophie B. Hawkins, and the soundtrack to "Kill Bill Vol. 1." Whew! what WICKED character are you?
WOO-HOO!! You are Elphaba! You are a fierce Green Ball of awesomeness! There is nothing you can't do...except for taking a bath.
