I'm a professional stand up comic / promoter working out of the Portland Oregon area. I have been performing comedy since 1984. I work all over the Western US, making people laugh.........it's a pretty cool job. I have opened for Carrot Top, Alonzo Bodden, Ty Barnett, Vic Dunlop, Darren Carter, & will be Co-Headlining with Tere Joyce this summer. You might have seen me on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Steve Harvey's Big Time Challenge on The WB, MTV, UPN's "Nowhere Man", & Comedy Central's "Make Me Laugh". I also won the Portland Region of Sierra Mist's "Next Great Comic" Competition in 2005. I have written a book, "Montana or Bust, 80 Bong Hits to Billings, 420 Days in the Life of The Mustard Man", which I hope to publish in 2006.
I have two incredible daughters (Kelsie age 17 & MacKenzie age 8) and a beautiful girlfriend named Megan, whom I've been with since Jan 2003. I love my daughters and my girlfriend very much. Next to Jesus, my father Floyd is the greatest man I've ever known. Him and his buddy Ron live in Mexico during the cold winter months, drinking, partying, and enjoying their retirement. My late mother Sharon was (and still is) my biggest fan. Whether it was little league baseball or stand up comedy she was always right there, telling me I could do it. I miss her dearly but know she's with me every second of my life. She's got the best seat in the house now.
I gave Corporate America 25 years of my life and all I have to show for it is a one bedroom apartment, a truck, and a monthly child support payment that I can't afford. I have no medical or dental insurance because I cannot afford it, unlike in Canada, where everyone has the basic right to live healthy and pain free. I hate the way this country is ran and despise all the Republican idiots that have made it the way it is today. Most of them are now back-peddling and putting distance between GW and themselves. How can a man with such a low approval rating run this country? The US is now "the bad guys" according to half of the world's population. I support our troops and wish them all the best. I pray that each and every one of them comes back home alive. I just don't support the reason's they are dying in the first place.
I am a firm believer and supporter of medical marijuana. Sometimes it's the only thing that gets me through the pain. Please support live comedy whenever you have the chance. Peace...............Musty
