I am truly blessed to make a living as a stand-up comedian. I love Marvel comics from the 70's, I love the memories of my 5 Uncles (My dads side), who did everything illegal, and to the dismay of my mother, showed me how not to get caught ("do it on your own nigga, that way nobodys left to snitch"), I love R&B from the 70's, and I loved being a little knucklehead runnin the streets without worrying about a white van pullin up to me in the 70's. Shit was simple back then. I spent part of my childhood in the streets of New Haven, but my favorite part of growing up was in the streets of Brooklyn (Do-or-Die-Bedsty). Me and my cousins whoopin on you Italians in hoops(we put on a dunking display) in Bensonhurst, then running for our lives after we slam dunked the final point.
Hanging on the porch in Brownsville with my fam, we had no money, but we had love for each other that trancends any friendship to this day. Never considered ourselves cousins, just brothers, and sisters. At least until the family reunion that we've held in the Pocanos for the last 15 yrs on Labor day came around. This is where we argue, get twisted, have prayer, fight, have more prayer, figure out who owes who money, then discuss how were gonna get together next year, and do it all over again. You know, Family. It seems the more advanced the human race becomes, the worst off we are. Everybody wants more. It seems everybody wants to be famous, or rich, or both. Does anybody just want to live, and laugh? We were made for fellowship, and I am happy to be a performer who has the God given talent to bring people together, if just for a moment.
I'm a black guy, with a Hispanic name, who was raised in Conneticut!?!? What haven't I heard? Spread Love. MySpace Layouts - myspace layouts
