Anyway - I really wish that every musician/songwriter/artist-of-any-sort will take the time to read the blog. / It will also be the Feature Article for this month's issue.

( New Sound Magazine ) is an online publication with plans to give major exposure to new, unknown and upcoming artists.
My name is Steve Timonen. My partner, Daryl Green, and I are hard at work creating the first copies of a magazine that will turn the music industry on it’s head.
We live in a world where we are being denied access to incredible talent. The radio plays the music that corporate America wants us to hear. The TV plays videos of born-rich pretty-boys and Madonna wannabes. The entire market is catering to a fanbase of shallow pretentious teenagers who care more about what an artist looks like than anything they are playing or saying.
There is no major outlet or exposure for those artists who write for a fanbase of mature, intelligent human beings (whether young or old) The result is an ocean of incredible talent that remains suppressed and the fanbase itself is frustrated and can only turn to old music that everyone has had enough of.
If you are an artist or simply a fan of great music, you have our promise. We are betting everything and will do everything in our power to get this publication launched and into the hands of others who will make a difference.
