This video is from Alpine Valley. Filmed on Sept 22, 2007 (T-Man's 8th Birthday) and Tallan is doing his T-Man Boogie.
Tallan Noble Latz (aka: The T-Man) now just turning 8 years old, seems to be destined for the big stage. He has been playing music since the age of 3, picking up the guitar for the first time at 4 and finally getting serious about the guitar at age 5. What makes this quick evolution even more surprising is that Tallan doesn´t come from a really musical family. His grandmother and great grandparents played a little but never took it to the extreme that Tallan is seeking to do with his art form. Tallan realizes that he can touch people´s lives with his music and that is his driving force.
At the age of 5 Tallan asked for an electric guitar for Easter after watching a video of Joe Satriani. He had his choice between a guitar, a remote control boat or a new bike. He chose the guitar. The stipulation was that if he got the guitar he must take lessons and practice. He has done both every since and has never looked back!Tallan loves playing his guitar; he´s played before small groups of 15 to huge crowds of a couple thousand. Tallan has already performed at dozens of venues, benefits and festivals. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with hundreds of different musicians, some local, some regionally known, some nationally known and still others that are internationally known, all before he turned the age of 8.In just a few short months, Tallan has created a huge stir in the SE WI and Northern IL area. The buzz is all about this little kid playing with the big boys. People are talking about this young guitar slinger who possesses an old musical soul, the way he carries and conducts himself on stage is something that just has to be seen. As one reporter put it in one of the many articles that have been written about Tallan, ¨When T-Man takes the stage, people stop what they're doing and collectively stare. People entering the room look up and stop as if their shoes were suddenly glued to the floor, not moving again until the song is over, when they reflexively break into wild shouts and applause.¨ People are traveling from all over the area to see Tallan play, he´s already has a fan base that is continually growing. Everyone is saying the same thing ¨You gotta see this!!!¨
All images in this slide show are of Tallan when he was 7 years old.
Tallan already has endorsement deals with these companies: Curt Mangan Strings, Morley Guitar pedals, Laney Amps and Dean Guitars. All these endorsements coming before the age of 8. Tallan just received another endorsement from E.A.R., Inc (Specialized Hearing Systems). There are more talks going on right now about adding more endorsements to T-Man's already impressive list of companies.
Tallan now at the old age of 8 is ready to take this journey to the next level.
