Karpenter’s Kids

This is my battle cry, where someone ELSE will die

About Me

In November 2004, yet another crappy garage band was formed. However, unlike countless other bands that die within a short time due to lack of commitment, two brothers, Nathanael and Levi Hambrick, struggled with sweaty brow and beating heart to expand musically and create songs that would not only sound good, but would have a positive, uplifting message that almost anyone could relate to. The last three years have been a struggle, but Karpenter’s Kids is slowly but surely surfacing to a point of recognition, with over 1,700 fans on Purevolume alone. “We feel like we’re at a critical point right now,” says Levi, the drummer and lead vocalist of the group, “It’s gotten to the point where we’ve invested so much into this band, we’ll either have to push it until we get signed, or lose interest altogether.”
With several home recordings under their belt, the band is finally pressing forward and is now recording two new songs in a professional studio for the first time ever. “It’s exiting to finally be able to hear the songs we’ve worked so hard to create…and hear them turn out ever better than we could have ever hoped for.” The band plans to have the new material finished before long, and is certain that it will mark a new beginning in the band’s history. Both Nate and Levi agree that the new music is “at least twice as good as anything we’ve ever done before” and that it’ll definitely be worth the wait. If true, this could very well be the next big band out there. Only time will tell.
