The band “ Çapit ” was formed November 2006 by Ibrahim Karabatak (vocal),Samet Doyduk (bass) and Okan Akkuzu (Drums).As the lead member of the group, Ibrahim Karabatak has been trying to bring back grunge in Adana since 1999 and provided a steady pulse working with several bands since then. In 2006 Samet left his long-term heavy metal band mongl as their lead vocal where he had been a great impact of their sound for over 4 years. Seeking new waves ibrahim and samet built the foundations of Capit. Finding Okan and observing his outstanding improvement and dedication to the group the rehearsals finally started.Capits musical influences are varied and wide ranging including but not limited to Nirvana, Pearl Jam………By composing their own songs and including cover items of their favorite groups they have been receiving great feedback from their fans throughout turkey and they are slowly taking their place as one of the top grunge bands in the country.
