Saxopaths

Danish Saxophone Quartet

About Me

4 saxophone players from Copenhagen, Denmark, have been playing together since 1994. The quartet has developed into an internationally acclaimed ensemble. Saxopaths has released 2 albums and has played numerous concerts in Denmark and abroad.
The players' style are very different, but they share a love for the naked sound of 4 saxophones and have connected in a sort of brotherhood that is very obvious on stage and on the albums.
All compositions are original, most of it composed and/or arranged by the band leader Kristoffer J. Rosing-Schow.
The constellation allows the ensemble to venture into very different genres without loosing their distinct and very recognizable sound. You'll know that you're listening to Saxopaths whether they play tangos, Greek folklore, Scandinavian ballads or funky stuff.

You can buy Saxopaths' cd's in all danish record shops. If they don't have it, ask them to take it home.

Or you can click on the pictures below, which will take you directly to cdjazz.com where you can order our albums worldwide.
