He is educated both in classical music (Conservatorio L. In the past 12 years, he has performed professionally in Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, Greenland, Færøer, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, England, Scotland, N. In 2003, he founded the acoustic trio " Band Au Neon ", whose first album "Oltretango" was released in June 2005. His first album, "Alchemy" ( "Splasch" - Feb 2004), was nominated among the best 5 "Danish" albums of the year 2004 (read article) . He has played since 1997 with American gospel singer Etta Cameron and in the band Bo Stief's ONE SONG III (1999-2006). Since 1996, he has collaborated with local and international artists, including Trine-Lise Væring , Mads Vinding , Jon Balke, Lelo Nika , Bob Rockwell, Thomas Blachman, Peter Danemo, Paolo Vinaccia, Fabrizio Mandolini, Gianluigi Trovesi, Pablo Ziegler, Hawk, Monique, Caroline Henderson, Millfield, Howe Gelb, Stefano Bollani, Paolo Fresu, Quique Sinesi, Horacio Hurtado, Nico Gori , Marie Bergman, Søs Fenger, Arild Andersen, Danny Gottlieb , Palle Danielsson, Line Kruse , Andrea Marcelli , Thomas Clausen , Robertinho Silva , Klavs Hovman, Marilyn Mazur, Poul Krebs.

In the fall 2001 Paolo discovered the bandoneòn , which has become crucial in his productions and live performances. In 2002 he was the main subject for the documentary film "The illogical instrument", directed by Arun Sharma. He realized soundtracks for the movies "See you in the future" and "Polizzi, my little Brooklyn" by Camilla Roos Overbye.
He is playing currently with his trio Band Au Neon , with Thomas Clausen's New Sextet and with the RUSSO/BOLLANI/FRESU TRIO .
Remarkable success has encountered his SOLO recital on piano and bandoneòn, which he has presented in Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Hungary and Argentina since 2002 and which you can listen to on his last album "Doble A-nima" . A wider expression of Paolo's musical universe can be found in the recent collaboration with the Danish Radio Underholdnings Orkestret (RUO) as composer/arranger and solosit together with Sicilian piano player, accordion player and composer Francesco Calì .
In February 2008 he has founded, together with Argentineans Diego Sandullo (guitar) and Ricardo Canepa (contrabass) a new trio named NUEVOTRIOPORTEÑO . The band has performed several concerts in Argentina and Uruguay and just recorded a new album with 12 original tracks composed by the members of the trio.
Finally, you can appreciate Paolo's touch on the bandoneòn in some of his appearances as guest soloist in the British band TANGO SIEMPRE .
