Inizia suonando la chitarra classica dall'età di 10 anni. Approfondisce gli studi classici con il Maestro concertista "GIOVANNI VIOLA". Dal 2006 fa parte del quartetto Gypsy Jazz "HOT CLUB ROMA" come chitarrista ritmico. Con il gruppo manouche ha suonato in vari festival e prestigiosi locali italiani: New Orleans Jazz Cafè di Roma, Smoker's Roma,Arto cafè Vt., Caffe del borgo Nettuno Roma, Festival Jazz di Casoli Ch.Di prossima uscita il nuovo disco registrato con il gruppo HOT CLUB ROMA. Componenti del gruppo: Carmelo Tartamella chitarra solista, Luca Velotti clarino e sax, Jacopo Delfini chitarra ritmica, Gianfranco Malorgio chitarra ritmica, Renato Gattone contrabbasso. Il disco è stato registrato e mixato da Antonio Di Donato presso il suo studio: A-Sheep Records - Roccascalegna (Ch) – Abruzzo – Italia Il CD sarà prodotto e distribuito dall'etichetta "Wide Sound" Nel Gennaio 2008 frequenta a Roma il seminario del grande chitarrista Jazz-Manouche "STOCHELO ROSENBERG". Nella Capitale ha suonato in diverse formazioni insieme a vari musicisti tra i quali; Luca Velotti, Red Pellini, Michael Supnick, Renato Gattone, Paolo Recchia, Natascia Bonacci, Gianluca Galvani, Salvatore Spano.
