The band started when drummer Devin Collins met up with Guitarist Tom Dowd and bass player Phil Gilliam-Cuffee. The first time that we played together we seemed to have a unique flow of ideas and decided to form a band based off of a collage of sound that was always constantly evolving itself. As we played together more and more we began to develop a vocabulary together and with some compositional elements brought into the music, we fly between sections of rehearsed music and improvisation.In the spring of 2008 we got in the studio with Mike Gibney as the engineer and we asked a good friend of Devin's, Jeremy Vovcsko, to come play some sax. These are the tracks that you here up on the sight at the moment. Phil was moving out of the Boston area after the summer of 2008 so Tom and Devin were on the lookout for a new bass player. Greg Albert seemed to fit instantly and brings a great knowledge of all types of music to the table. Now the band stands as a quartet and we are writing more and more music as we go forward.
