Green Magazine & GreenMag E-News are exciting new publications dedicated to informing industry professionals about the many aspects of sustainable and green business. With an editorial package that’s multidisciplinary, Green Magazine will cross segments of green industry to reach businesses interested in “solutions for a sustainable world.†Articles will feature sustainable businesses, new ideas, products and trends, successful green building projects, landscaping, organics, renewable energy, and profiles of industry leaders.Green Magazine’s mission is to provide a forum, targeted toward professionals, that discusses the cutting edge of what’s new and important in green and sustainable arenas. By covering a wide range of topics and targeting a diverse market of industry professionals, it is hoped that interdisciplinary synergies will emerge to support green practices. Solutions-based editorial information will be the hallmark of the magazine.Green Magazine has a regional focus, and since many of the issues facing green businesses in this region are similar, it is hoped that common information will lead to common solutions.Green Magazine targets an audience that is highly desirable—sustainable industry professionals in the eight-state Rocky Mountain region: Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana.Partnerships will be formed with as many organizations as possible to make the magazine as inclusive as possible.As Annette Stelmack, founding member and former president of the USGBC Colorado Chapter, puts it:“I’m thrilled that we have the opportunity to partner with Green Magazine. It’s essential that we promote a continually expanding base of knowledge and resources to support the ongoing application of sustainable design. Coming together as a community, all disciplines within the building industry generate a unique synergy where environmental advocacy quickly turns into literacy. We can accomplish this through an engaging, thought-provoking publication that inspires action.â€Green Magazine will be printed six times annually: April/May; June/July; August/September; October/November; December/January; and February/March. GreenMag’s e-news will be published at least monthly.Green Magazine “walks the talk†regarding green practices in everything it does. A recycled glossy paper stock will be used, along with organically derived soy inks. Paper stock is 30-percent post-consumer waste, elemental-chlorine-free paper.Publication page size is 8.375†wide by 10.875†tall.
