Wanna do something about climate change? Choosing renewable energy to power your home or business is one of the easiest and most effective ways to do just that. And, guess what? Every single American: regardless of how much money you make, where you live, or whether you rent or own your home can USE RENEWABLE ENERGY! GO TO

www.green-e.org

Every time you switch on your lights, resources are used to generate your electricity. 98% of electricity produced in the United States comes from non-renewable resources such as polluting fossil fuels and nuclear power. These non-renewable sources of electricity are the number one cause of global warming in the United States.

There are huge differences between the types of resources used to meet our country's electricity needs. The remaining 2% of the electricity produced is generated from renewable resources, such as wind, solar, geothermal, small hydro and biomass, which cause dramatically less air pollution and environmental damage.

Green-e provides an easy way for consumers to quickly identify environmentally superior electricity options.

Green-e certifies renewable electricity products that meet the environmental and consumer protection standards established by the Program. The Program also requires that electricity providers disclose information about their product to their customers in a standardized format.

This enables consumers to make informed purchasing decisions and helps to build consumer confidence in retail renewable electricity products. Through these efforts, the Green-e Program hopes to expand the retail market for renewable electricity products and for power from cleaner non-renewable generation.* The display the Green-e logo on your Myspace page means that you support the mission of the Green-e program and want a clean renewable energy future for everybody. It does not mean that you or your company offer a Green-e certified product or electricity option. The Green-e logo is out there to protect consumers and let them know that when they are choosing renewable energy and they are getting what they pay for. Only companies that go through the annual Green-e verification process may use the Green-e logo to show that their product is certified. Go to green-e.org to find a list of companies that offer Green-e certified options and how you can get involved.Vote for Green-e! www.myspace.com/greeneprogram
