Kade Puckett currently writes records and edits his own music from his home-based studio in Linton, Indiana. He has 22 years of experience playing the guitar and specializes in finger-style among other genres such as jazz, rock, blues and funk. His stockpile of music includes more than 75 original acoustical/Indie songs. Puckett has also recorded and produced more then 200 original songs of various musical genres in which he plays all of the instruments.
He began playing guitar at the age 13 after being influenced by his grandfather who introduced him to the music of Chet Atkins. At age 23 he appeared at the Grand Ole Opry as the lead guitar player with a local country-western band.
He has performed as a solo act for the past 18 years.
In more recent endeavors, he attended a Tommy Emmanuel workshop in which he played Atkins’ “Happy Again†with Emmanuel.
Puckett has appeared at several local music festivals as a solo act.
Recently, he completed his second album "Two Hands" which features 11 original finger-style compilations. "These Two Hands" displays Puckett's musical talent as well as his ability to communicate emotion through sound.
