My Dad who played a guitar and sang Johnny Cash and Merle Haggad tunes. My mom also sang and took me to church. Dolly Parton inspired me with her ability to be herself and write a great song from the perspective of a southern woman. I also have felt a great influence by the christian community and friends that I grew up with.
In later years, my daughter, who sings like an angel, inspired me to be a better singer and believe in myself. Most of all, my husband Barry, who supports me in anything and everything I attempt to do. I'll love him forever!!!
