I don't wanna know whats in a Hot Dog!

About Me

I grew up in Peterborough Ontario for the first 29 years of my life. In my primary years i was forced into studying the piano in the Royal Conservatory. I passed my grade three and decided that wasnt what I was looking for. Grade 8 graduation came and my parents got me an amp and an electric guitar. About the same time I decided to take Drum lessons and learn the basic riduments and then just taught myself enough to play and try to keep a steady rhythm and not speed up or slow down. In high school i played in various different rock/punk groups and played parties and a few dances. And even a few times at the Legendary Red Dog. In university I developed an ear for more traditional music. Blue, bluegrass and celtic. I tended to favour the traditional jigs and reels. I decided to buy a mandolin and tenor banjo and began learning how to play. I attended Ken Ramsdens Bluegrass and Celtic jams and learned more and more. I began to busk and play weddings, retirement parties, Robbie burns/ St. Pattys celebrations. etc. I began to take notice that this stuff sells!!!! For the past 7 years now i have been residing in Toronto. I plan to get back into the swing of things again. I have nowmoved to Moose Factory and am on the lookout for some Cree fiddlers of James Bay.... Thanks for visiting and hope to see you out there somewhere someday somehow.
