About Me

Lovisa StÃ¥hl was born 28th of april 1981 in Karlshamn in Sweden. After upper secondary school she moved to Norway to work for a while. That was too close to home so she went to Mexico as a 19-year old to study spanish, without knowing a word at her arrival. Six weeks after she knew how to get along in the beautiful language. Back in Europe Lovisa went on an interrail with her friend and stoped in Paris for a year. Now she's back in Sweden and lives in MalmÃ¶, where she studies to become a music- and guitarteacher at the acadamy of music. Lovisa still loves travelling and languages and spent the summer 2007 in Iceland working with kids with different kind of disabilities. After one more year at the Acadamy she's working at a summercamp during the summer -08 as well as giving concerts.

Lovisa is a singer/guitarist/songwriter and music has always been a major part of her life and she's working on her debutealbums. One in english and one in swedish. They'll be released in 2008. Music is her comfort when she's sad and it makes her feel safe and home. Music makes her happy and she loves performing and see other people perform. A good performance is a treasure worth more than diamond and gold. Doesn't matter if it's a rock 'n roll or countryconcert, an opera, ballet, movie or theatre. As long as it delivers feelings and thoughts it's good. No matter if you feel angry, melancolic or happy afterwards, as long as you feel and think something. The best ones is when it doesn't leave you when it's over. That's what Lovisa struggles to achieve with her own performances. To make you feel and think and she does.Lovisa is playing both solo and with a girl namned Emily(the blond girl you can find at some of the pictures).
