About Me

A TRIBUTE TO JERRY REED 1937-2008
THOM BRESH - ELECTRONIC PRESS KIT
I am a creator, musician, songwriter and entertainer. Have been all my life. I play the guitar, tell stories, study people and love to sing cool songs. I also have a tremendous love for photography and sound, both of which I have been into most of my life. I believe in individuality and I view the "unique" as treasures. I am serious about my life, but I don't take it too seriously. I have always followed my insticts and my heart. So far, so good. I am extremely passionate about what I do and what I am into, and I am not content until I spread that passion to those around me. I have found that positive does breed positive and negative sucks. I admire people who have God given talent, whether THEY know it or not, and the way they put it to use. I like love, and I'm not afraid to show it. My favorite thing with love is falling in it. I love to eat everything but cucumbers. Beef Stroganoff is my favorite dish and Carrot Cake is my favorite dessert. I also get a craving for an Anchovy Pizza and beer every now and then. My favorite cars are convertibles and I enjoy bar-b-queing in the rain. I try to be honest and I always tell it like I see it. I've done about everything I've ever wanted to do in life, and look forward to doing what I have not yet thought of. If you have read all of this, thank you for your time.

My Guitars have always been my band members. You can see them all at www.bresh.com. For now, here are some moments and people from my life.. It has been fun so far!

Influences:

My father was named the most influencial guitarist of the 20th century. His name was Merle Travis. His "Travis Pickin" influenced many great guitarists including Chet Atkins, Scotty Moore and Jerry Reed, all of which influenced me greatly. But I was also influenced by Paul McCartney, Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis Jr., Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash to name only a few. I am still influenced today by people like Lisa Carver, Buster B. Jones, Terry Wedding and Tommy Emmanuel. I can usually find something in any great artist that will influence me. I think musical growth never stops. To hear and understand even more, download or listen to my "What Is Bresh Stuff" in the audio section. You can also go to www.bresh.com or www.breshstuff.com for a bigger picture.
