THE MUSIC IS NOT IN THE GUITAR..LIFE IS GOOD!

About Me

After serving in the Air Force, I decided to follow my dreams of playing music for a living. I moved to Louisiana and played full time for a year, and then I returned home to reacquaint myself with friends and family around Little Rock, Arkansas. I continued to play full time about eight years in different bands all across the state. I played with many wonderful musicians, some famous some not, many of those have remained close friends. After the eight years that I played music full time, I became restless and joined the Little Rock Fire Department. I am now a Captain, and it is 25 years later....The years seem to have flown. However, I have never strayed far from my music roots. I have constantly substituted for fellow musicians when my work schedule permits. I have also enjoyed working in the recording studio, as projects become available. Through the years, I have been blessed with a rewarding profession, which has provided me with a lifetime of experiences very few will experience. As my tenure on the Fire Department is rapidly winding down, I am looking forward to leaving my turnout boots behind and taking my guitar pickin.. to yet another level. It is my destiny to be a guitar player, that is all I ever wanted to be. I hope to pick you a tune very soon. Rick Campbell. music layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com

Some guitar players have never gotten the recognition they deserve. Thumbs Carlille is one of those musicians. I am not sure of the actual date, probably 1982 or 1983. Every Year, my friend, Garland H...
