About Me

At the age of fifteen when most kids were out riding bikes, playing football, and just being kids, child prodigy Robby Springfield was busy playing on his first major label hit project for Twentieth Century Fox Records. Fiddlin’ Frenchy Burke helped introduce this steel guitar wizard to the world on a song called “Big Mamou”, which today is one of every musicians must have recordings.Over the years Robby hasn’t slowed down one bit. He has worked on projects for Decca, Capital Liberty, PolyGram, ABC Dot and many more. Robby has worked with such artist as Sammy Kershaw, Doug Supernaw, Johnny Lee, Andy Williams, David Lynn Jones, Trini Triggs, Frenchy Burke, Randy Cornor, Jo’el Sonnier, and Kenny Dale. Robby does much of the arranging for the “Cuttin’ Crew” as well as handles the electric guitar, steel guitar, dobro, and acoustic work. Having performed in many venues such as Farm Aid, Robby is no stranger to a major concert stage and is currently a member of the Academy Of Country Music’s “All Star Jam Band” which performs for all of the major label artist at the Las Vegas awards show.Along with his musicianship, Robby also has extensive experience as a recording engineer and owns and operates a full service film/video production company. stars layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com music / movies
