What's a nice girl like this doing in a honkytonk? She's out there playing some kick ass country music! Liz Talley was born to sing traditional country and that's just what she's doing! If you like twin fiddles and a steel guitar, you'll like her style. She can swing like a Texan should and get you on your feet with some great Rockabilly. She sings, plays, writes her own songs and she can honk with the best of them! Her love for traditional country music began as far back as she can remember listening to mamas radio on the kitchen table. She spent hours after school at the neighbors house learning guitar chords. Liz remembers those afternoon.. "I cried every day because my fingers hurt so bad...but I wouldn't quit. I was determined to learn how to play that thing!"She taught herself how to play drums & bass listening to such honkytonkers as Johnny Bush, Ray Price & Faron Young. She is no stranger to hard work & it shows through her determination & dedication to carve a name for herself in country music.Liz is not only a great singer but an excellent drummer and has played drums for Wanda Jackson, Norma Jean, Frenchie Burke, Tommy Cash and Billy Yates. With her upbeat personality and down to earth ways, she is a favorite among event planners & radio personalities. No need to worry about the future of country music when you've got singers like this little gal from Texas. She's the real deal!
