About Me

Kristi Warner – Read My Lipstick: BUY THIS CD TODAY ! ! !
Kristi Warner is an up and coming country music artist hailing from Clovis, CA. At the age of four years old, Kristi walked around her house using a hairbrush as a microphone singing I Saw the Light by Wynonna Judd to her father (her biggest fan). It was then that she knew that she wanted someday to become a country singing star.
She started her vocal training in high school with her current vocal coach, Jenny Myers, in Fresno, CA. They decided to give the school talent show a try and at 16 she won studio time in a local recording studio. She cut her first vocal demo and realized her dream of becoming a country artist was beginning to happen.
In November of 2004, Kristi entered a talent competition in Nashville, TN and came in first place in the talent showcase. On a return trip to Nashville in April 2005, Kristi was introduced to Nashville songwriter/producer, David Norris. The result of this meeting has been the production of Kristi's first album, "Read My Lipstick", which was produced at the Fun House Studios located on 18th Avenue in Nashville. Four of her new original songs from the album can be heard here on her myspace location.
The producer is David Norris and Jimmy Hyatt is the co-producer of the project. Kristi was also blessed to have a great supporting cast. John Saylor and Kelly Schoenseld were the Engineers on the project. Rick Malkin was the Photographer and Ladd Smith did the Art Design on the album. The musicians were, Shannon Forrest on Drums, Larry Franklin on the Fiddle, Bruce Bouton on Steel Guitar, Jeff King on Electric Guitar, Bobby Terry on Acoustic Guitar, Jimmy Carter on Bass Guitar, and Buddy Hyatt, the band director, on the Piano. The background vocals were done by Billy and Chip Davis. Eric Legg did the final mixing of the project. Kristi was also fortunate to sing a duet, "Just Like in the Movies", with Colt Prather, currently signed with Warner Bros., which will is also on her album.
In January 2007, Kristi made her first music video and made the finals of the CMT Music City Madness contest. You can see the video of her song, "One of the Boys" on her myspace website. She made the video at Code Blue in Nashville, TN.
In November 2007, during the Inspirational Country Musice (ICM) week in Nashville, Kristi sang her song "Again" in the singing competition held at the Radisson Opryland Hotel. She came in 1st place in the ICM Talent contest and won the full cost production for a 10-song CD. She hopes to have this completed in early 2008.
Kristi would like to thank her brother, Scott Warner, singer/song writer/engineer/performer, for creating the art work for her myspace website. She would also like to thank again Jenny Myers, her vocal coach. Without Jenny, Kristi's dream of becoming a country singing artist would never have been possible.
Kristi hopes to be a strong female role model and wants to stress to her fans the importance of independence, individuality, strong morals, and the best remedy for life at times - to kick back and have fun.
