Molly Jacobs

Molly Jacobs is currently studying at University of California, Irvine in order to obtain a Masters of Fine Arts in Opera. She is currently preparing as the soloist in Manuel De Falla's "El Amor Brujo" to be performed in June with U.C.I Orchestra.Molly Jacobs has performed with Opera companies such as Berkeley Opera, Cinnabar Opera Theater, Pacific Alliance Theater, U.C.I's Opera Workshop and Quantum Opera Theater. Her most recent roles have included Madame Flora in Menotti's "the Medium", Miss Todd in Menotti's the Old Maid and the Thief, Mrs. Segstrom in A Little Night Music, Queen Balthazar in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitor, the Spirit in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and Paquette in Bernstein's Candide.Molly has performed frequently in numerous recitals and her most recent one, entitled "Il Fervido Desiderio" is currently playing on this page. She's appeared as a soloist with Sonoma State University Chorus and has performed at many church services as the featured soloist. She was awarded 2nd place in the NATS Redwood Empire Scholarship competition in February of 2007.Molly obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Music with a concentration Opera from Sonoma State University, and while there was a recipient of the Everett B.
