..Norma owes her passion for music to her footballer-father who was also a guitarist. Growing up in such an environment, it was only natural that Norma's first compositions would be for guitar. She studied languages and speaks french, English, Italian and Spanish.
Later, music got the upper hand and she enrolled in the American School of Modern Music in Paris. For four years she studied writing, composition, piano and harmony. Norma then spent some time at the Berklee college of Music in Boston (USA). On her return to Paris, she made many interesting contacts, leading to her providing backing vocals for recordings by David Hasselhoff, Michel Jonas and many others.
In addition, Norma sang the French versions of the songs on the soundtrack of French-dubbed American films, including Sister Act 1 and 2, The Lion King and 2 , Hercules, etc...
Besides her passion for music, Norma has danced since she was young. In particular, she has taken classes with Jaime Rogers, choreographer of, amongst others, Fame (the original TV series). By the age of 19, she had reached professional standard, which allowed her to dance in the music video U Got The Look with Prince. Acting classes enabled her to perfect her training as an artiste.
In 1999, she co-composed the music and lyrics of Tous Les Maux d'Amour (All the Pains of love) with Jean Fredenucci. The song brought her attention of a wider public and quickly became a major success ( among the top 10 and one of the most played songs on radio stations in France, Canada, Switzerland and Belgium). The English group S Club 7, made a cover version in english, which became an international hit entitled Natural.
In 2000, she released her first album: Poussières D'Etoiles, Star Dust, a blend of funk, RnB, jazz, Soul and Classical.Norma is currently working on her new album as well as collaborating with different Djs Producers on some exciting projects.
