BigBee of the Whitetree Bio
The soul and heart of Revelatio is songwriter/musician/visionary Bigbee of
the Whitetree. He writes, performs and records most of the music himself.
He sings, plays the guitar, bass, synthesizer,and does the programming and
producing. Each cd he makes is very unique and different. BigBee chooses
locations that serve the energy that he is after to enhance the recording
intention. He believes that space has a vibration and can influence the
writing and recording of the music. Once he has an intention of the
project he selects the appropriate space to work in. The location becomes
as much a part of the project as anything else. The constant theme that
remains in each work is channeling the divine and opening unto the
universe. It is an exploration in sound. Conveying a message of
empowerment, positive vibration, and oneness. I will. I am.
BigBee of the Whitetree approaches the music like a book and illustrates
them with sound. He is making music that stirs the greatest emotions from
the listener. Taking them into a world that is both personal and
universal. We are all One. At times he uses session musicians in the
studio for different applications. BigBee has worked with trumpet players,
violinists, classical guitarists and other professional musicians. In the
live setting Revelatio can go from a full production show to the intimate
and unplugged.
The music that BigBee of the Whitetree has been inspired by ranges all
over. The genres include Reggae, Rock, Electronic, Experimental, Ambient,
Dub, Hip-Hop, Soundscapes, New Age, and Meditation music. As a child
BigBee’s father exposed him to the teachings and music of Reggae legends
Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Burning Spear, and Steel Pulse. BigBee was touched
by these musicians ability to bring such conviction and knowing to their
lyrics. The lessons he took from his childhood teachers was to find his
own clarity and message. BigBee was driven to explore music and find the
chords, notes, sounds, and textures that best supported his voice.
BigBee’s perseverance has developed into the sound known as Revelatio.
Outside of the studio BigBee of the Whitetree practices Anusara(flow with
grace) Yoga(union). This style of yoga compliments and enhances the energy
work that BigBee uses to have direct communion with the divine. With this
communion he is able to have clarity and direction in even the most
mundane activities. It is the life purpose of BigBee to be conscious of
the oneness of life. He is called to put these personal insights to music
and art. Working with the guide "One" to channel the message of
empowerment, positive vibration, and oneness. Without judgement, in no
