The Celtic-fusion sound of Shkayla has evolved since band leader and ace electric fiddle-player moved to Coventry in 1998.
Limerick-born Joe’s career has included work with former Steeleye Span members, Terry and Gay Woods, dynamic fiddle-driven rock band East of Eden and the late, great Irish bluesman Rory Gallagher.
Singing songs in English and Gaelic and playing soaring fiddle melodies and improvisations, Joe is accompanied by versatile guitarist Si Hayden, experienced keyboards player Martin Barter, rock and jazz-influenced bass player Mark Fulton and drummer Brendan J.Rayner.
