About Me

Music -
I'm a Traditonal Scottish Fiddle player and Native Gaelic speaker from Inverness. I've been lucky enough to have been taught by Marion Morgan (Meet on the Ledge), Chris Stout (Fiddlers Bid), Gordon Gunn (Session A9) and most recently, Karen Steven from Caithness. My biggest influences would have to be Karen Steven, Adam Sutherland (Session A9/Peatbog Faeries) and Chris Stout (Fiddlers Bid).
I'm presently studying a BA in Gaelic & Traditional Music at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig in Skye. I also teach Traditional Music at North Highland College.
I'm a Director for the Inverness based music charity Ceòl Beò and an Festival Coordinator for the Ceòl Beò Beltane Festival.
You'll usually find me every Monday night at Hootananny's leading the session with good friends Dana Jamieson from Unst on Fiddle and Matthew MacLennan from Kiltarlity on Accordion. I also do a few other performances here and there. Previous performances include; Hootananny's Ceilidh Bar, Inverness Highland Games, Ceòl Beò Beltane Festival, Farr Hall, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and Evanton Music Festival.
