Dana Jamieson

Dana is from the island of Unst in the Shetland isles. She has been playing the fiddle for many years, and has been taught by Arthur Spence, Pauline Wiseman and Margaret Scollay. She has now gained an HNC in Music Performance at the North Highland College and has travelled across to norway to play at the North Sea Festival and at the Forde international music festival. She has been a member of a few groups; Unst Music and Dance Band, High Strings, and most recently is in a band called Layby 69. with Musicians, Eilidh Scammell; Dana Jamieson; Robert Taylor and Kerrie Finlay.
