Matheu Watson

I was brought up, musically, through the Fèisean movement and so I learnt about music through the traditional melodies and songs that the Fèisean preserve. Coming from a genre specific background has been very useful as it has given me a repertoire of music that I am confident in, and has also given me a foundation to work from in creating my own music. I have been very lucky to take part in a lot of great shows and to have played with some of my heroes. I am currently working on two pieces, one called "junKtion" and the other as yet untitled and am also playing the piper Fred Morrison.
