VERSATILITY IS THE KEY

About Me

I started playing when I was 15. My friends needed a bass player in their punk band and I said "sure...how hard could it be" 17 years later I'm still learning something new all the time. I aspire to be the best musician I can be. I love music way more than technique. (but I love good technique) I've played with a few notable people but I really want to play with you!!! (if you're good, preferably better than me) ;) I love all good music and I love all good musicians. So check me out and hit me up. I love feedback......hopefully positive.

R.I.P. Dave Carpenter

I just heard that Dave had passed away recently. I am shocked and saddened by this. What a tremendous musician this guy was. He could play over anything effortlessly.  I saw him within the last s...

MUSICIANS MUSIC

I have mixed feelings about the bass. On one hand I really appreciate this new wave of virtuoso bass players. The techniques have evolved so fast and the bass is no longer just a foundati...

MICHAEL MANRING

I've noticed that not a lot of guy's credit Manring as an influence on their playing. I don't think it's because people don't like or appreciate what he does but rather it seems out of reach to...
