I was born in East Los raised in Pasadena, began playing drums at the age of four thanks to my bassist father. Except for sophomore year in high school marching snare i never played the drums in school but began professionally at the age of 18. (keeping it real in the burrito circuit of course.) Finally took a change in course after playing locally for a couple years and went to Mt. San Antonio College. Under the direction of Mike Collins and Tom Hynes i played in various jazz settings, be it big band or small ensemble. Then took private lessons with Victor Loyo (drummer for Luis Miguel) and then meet and took lessons with Joey Heredia (who hasn't he played with).
Summer of 2005 did a tour with Alejandro Fernandez, Chayanne and Marc Anthony as a tech. Now i'm hitting the globe solely with Marc Anthony as drum and percussion tech. Toured 2006 with Gloria Trevi, Laura Pausini, Marco Antonio Solis and Marc Anthony. I hate not playing as much as i used to but it's paying the bills. 2007's efforts in improving the resume went well, I spent 3/4 of the year working for Jennifer Lopez. Let's see what happens in 2008.........
