A late musical bloomer, He didn't pick up a bass guitar until the age of 21. After circulating through a plethora of garage bands, Dudley landed in a group with a guitar player by the name of “Bob Deal”. You wouldn’t recognize that name today as Mr. Deal chose to legally change his name to Mick Mars, now of Motley Crew fame. Along with Guitar player ROD MCCLURE, and Singer/songwriter BUZZ HATTON, and his brother, DALE HATTON, they worked on an original project but, with musicians coming and going, it just never quite got off the ground. ************************************************************ **********************In 1975, Dudley relocated to Indianapolis, IN. He played, off and on, with a variety of original music projects, a few blues bands and did some local session recording work. ************************************************************ ***********************In 1989, Dudley’s music career started to take off when he became the bassist for an original Blues/Rock project called “BANGKOK ROOSTER”. Along with PAUL HOLDMAN, (Guitar) MARK HENDRICKS (Vocals/Guitar)and DAN FOX, (Drums), he recorded the 1993 Slippery Noodle Sound release “Live From The Slippery Noodle Vol I ..********************************************************** ***********************In 1994 Dudley and BANGKOK ROOSTER released, “Whataya Kiddn’ Me?”, on RRR Records. In 2003 Bangkok Rooster was reformed as “MARK HENDRICKS and the PARTY LINE”. Dudley still occasionally travels back to Indianapolis to do shows with Mark.********************* ************************************************************ **********************In May of 2006, Dudley relocated to Florida and is now pleased to be part of 2 great projects,…the “ROADHOUSE BAND”; a hard working, Classic Rock band pays the bills, gigging everywhere from Halls, Bars, Clubs, Weddings, and Coprorate Events, playing everything from “Little Feat”, Lynard Skynard and Hank Williams Jr. to Billy Joel, Bad Company and the Beatles…throw in a bunch of other classic rock, country and oldie artists and the ROADHOUSE BAND entertains and pleases crowds of all ages. My Interests

Music:

Band Members: ..
Influences: Paul McCartney, Nathan East, Alfonso Johnson and of course, "Randy Newman". "The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." - Hunter S. Thompson
Sounds Like: Dudley has a unique, self-taught style of playing bass-- so his sound and groove is very much his own.
