Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dudley actually grew up on the West Coast in Garden Grove California. A late musical bloomer, He didn't pick up a bass guitar until the age of 21. After circulating through a plethora of garage bands, Dudley landed in a group with a guitar player by the name of “Bob Dealâ€. You wouldn’t recognize that name today as Mr. Deal chose to legally change his name to Mick Mars, now of Motley Crew fame. Along with Guitar player ROD MCCLURE, and Singer/songwriter BUZZ HATTON, and his brother, DALE HATTON, they worked on an original project but, with musicians coming and going, it just never quite got off the ground. ************************************************************
**********************In 1975, Dudley relocated to Indianapolis, IN. He played, off and on, with a variety of original music projects, a few blues bands and did some local session recording work.
