Real Bass & Fake Bass!!!

About Me

Welcome Scott Pazera's MySpace. Scott has been playing
bass for over 20 years and is a motivated instructor, small
business owner and spirited performer. Scott has been
performing publicly with his own jazz groups and often works
as a sideman to some of the top performers in Chicago.
Playing extended range fretted and fretless basses has allowed
him to view the modern role of the bass without boundaries.
Scott has studied with many fine teachers and is proud to
include Frank Potts, Bill Dickens, Todd Johnson & Janek
Gwizdala as notable mentors. He feels that your musical
education is a journey and not a destination. There will never
be a day when your musical education is complete. There is
always something to learn and there is always somebody out
there that you can learn from. Books & videos are a great
source of information and with the right instructor can lead to
a path of endless self-help.
Scott has performed and/or recorded with artists such as Rich
Little, Ce Ce Peniston, Veruca Salt, Med Flory (Supersax), Henry Johnson,
Byron Stripling, Rachel Yamagata, Paris Delane (Sonia Dada),
James Russell, Satya Graha, Mike Mandell and many others.
Stay tuned as there are many more exciting projects in the works.
