lost in a dream, don't know which way to go

About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
I was created near the scenic merging of the Red and Assiniboine waters in Winnipeg, and went on to have many prairieful adventures there for more than twenty years. I was recreated in Halifax where I had even more scandalous levels of adventure for another five years. Now I have moved my bones, my books, most of my heart and what's left of my mind to Vancouver. When I'm not busy being a responsible (ha!), productive (ha ha!) citizen, I make music as best I can. Thanks to Norman Dugas, NJ McDonnell, and Jeff Nichols for being such incredibly skilled producers and artists and for hearing my songs in such different ways. Here's a fun fact: The first original song I ever performed on an actual stage was called 'The Last Virgin On Earth.' It's been downhill ever since. If you ask nicely I might play it for you sometime.I am working on a new project (tunes are forthcoming) with the amazing and talented Adam Percy. We are called Girl Goes Electric - soon to be coming to a town near you.Love and kisses, Susanp.s. If I've sent you a plea to be my virtual friend it's because I like your music or your profile and I think you might like mine. Or it's because I think you're hot. Yeah, it's probably because I think you're hot.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: welcome
Band Members: Susan is alone but not lonely, with a shiny red Ovation in her arms.
Influences: Relationships gone awry; trashy television; Pete Yorn; Damien Rice; Tom Waits; waiting; airports; Buck 65; Ani Difranco; Jean Arp; friends; highways; waterways; David Usher; David Bowie; Jeff Buckley; Chet Baker; Canadian ska musicians; cute boys who do ballet; Bruce Springsteen; American pop culture; tiny tragedies; Ben Sures; Nina Simone; France; Winnipeg; Tyler Durden; weather; isolation; desperation; conversation; pretty much anything ending in -ation. Use your imagination.
Sounds Like: that time you got screwed over and if you hadn't been in a public place you would have thrown your head back and gone "aaaugh!" but instead you went home and called your friends and complained about all the losers in the world and then ended up laughing about it because, really, it is pretty funny when you think about it.CURRENT MOON moon phases:
Record Label: thinking of starting one
Type of Label: None
