About Me

A rich mixture of early New Orleans Jazz,Blues & Swing dance music led by drummer Robin Watters who is supported by various musicians From the uk jazz scene.Robin Watters has been running & playing in various jazz bands for over 20 years which have ranged from Rhythm & Blues with a Latin tinge to traditional Jazz bands , trio's to sextets. He has, over the years, featured at the Soho jazz festival, Greenwhich Jazz festival and various tv appearances including the Chinese channel BBC, C4, C5 & Sky he has also been featured on radio broadcasts. In addition to these he has worked in central Europe and has been featured in films i.e. Routemaster, Afterthought, Dead Horses and In Your Dreams. He has been known to appear as Santa Claus in a local shopping centre

Band Members: At the time of recording Unhinged the line up was Robin Watters Drums,Norman Cook Clarinet, Tim Duce Guitar, Gerry Ingrams Bass. This line up has been joined by Bernie Holden Sax, Sid Bennet Banjo, George Patterson Trumpet, Mike Jackson Trumpet for 28 x 2 recording. A new cd has just been recorded Show Time with George Patterson,Bernie Holden.Sid Bennet.Normam Cook.& Gerry Ingrms. This line up has also recorded a follow up cd Jolly Japes wich has Pete Clancy on Trombone on three tracks.
Influences: Dr John,Count Basie,Jimmy Smith,Cream,Steve Winwood.Free,b.b,King woody Herman,Muggsy Spanier, Bob Crosby,Beatles,Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters,Traffic,Henri De Toulouse-Lautrec,Steve Mairriott,Graham Bond,John Mayall,booker t,Alexis Korner.
