My guitar style encompasses both flat-pick and finger picking styles - a bit of a hybrid most of the time. This reflects my range of experiences and breadth of musical tastes.
I have played in all sorts of bands covering the gamut from the folk scene through Country bands, Soul bands, Show bands, a Sixties band !!, various club bands. Rock bands, Jazz/Blues and a couple of Folk/Rock Bands (neither of them a happy experience!)
This has taken me all over the Midlands, U.S Bases, plus various weeks’ tours in the North East, Devon and Cornwall and South Wales.
I had a break from bands a couple of years ago mainly writing my own acoustic material for solo performance and doing local open mics, but have been playing covers more recently. Rehearsing with Moscow Dog doing some more modern stuff. Have several songs to finish and record when I can find some time.
