The Ballachulish Hellhounds were originally formed in the highlands of Scotland around 1988 by a collection of local musicians and stoner buddies. They played only 2 gigs and shortly after The Hellhounds went their separate ways, until a chance meeting between original founders Dochan MacMillan and Zander MacFarlane rekindled their passion for old timey music and cheap whisky. Thus the Hellhounds reformed as an acoustic bluegrass/country blues outfit, borrowing and stealing guest players along the way. The Hellhounds have been playing selected gigs around Scotland for the past 4yrs enthralling audiences with their free flowing, honest, entertaining, balls to the walls good-time mayhem!
