About Me

Kelly Ingham (Acoustic KANE) is the founder and lead singer for Project KANE, which was a four piece acoustic group from Rockland County. They played in 2004-2006 at places like Rhodes Tavern (where they had a regular weekly night) and other local live music venues. This has now turned into Acoustic KANE, reflecting the more unplugged flavor that Kelly prefers, and can include either Kelly solo or a collaboration with one or two other acoustic musicians. Every year Acoustic KANE plays at the Suffern Farmer's Market and other outdoor festival-like events. Before Project KANE, Kelly was singing in a soul group still active in Rockland called Got Soul. KANE is Kelly And the Notorious Evildoers. The STOMP was Prjct. KANE's biggest hit! Here we have the originators..I WANT TO FEATURE GREAT ARTISTS I FIND ON MYSPACE: POWERSOLO!

Band Members: KANE (Kelly And the Notorious Evildoers), at one time consisted of the members of Project KANE: Kelly, Mark, Rich and Gary D filling in on Harp between his other gigs. Acoustic KANE now consists of Kelly and whatever other evildoers who play softly but cary a big pick.
Influences: Liz Fraser, Joan Osborne, Diamanda Galas, Kathy McDonald, Anneli Drecker, Maria Muldaur, Lynn Rosenthal & all great singers, Stones, Zeppelin, Neil Young, Dead Can Dance, Primal Scream, Alan Lomax, KD, John Kennedy, pain, suffering, indignancy to move the phoenix along time and again, we burn..where the heat is rising under the cooling sun, Esther, Dr. Quantum, Clancy Bros, Uncle Tommy, everyone I've played w/Mommy Joan! I forgot to point out the entrainment of Joe's cash register to Mark's bouncing knee, notice the register on Spiderweb, is on beat, Joe having subconciously paralleled his chinging to the stomping foo...
