About Me

THE ONLY REAL VOYAGE OF DISCOVERY CONSISTS NOT IN SEEKING NEW LANDSCAPES, BUT IN HAVING NEW EYES. ~Marcel Proust ____________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ ______Not just music, thoughts and words too... Words are tinder of the tongue, splintering around us as we speak, falling into beds of people asleep and ears of those who are not deaf but refuse to hear. Chosen wisely and spoken softly, small pieces of the big stick hold more power than the threat of bloody thorns mincing flesh in the name of love, or peace. Gather the people, the fatwood of truth. Pass out the matches, strike the flame. Toss it to the tinder, warm yourself. Create, destroy, transform. ____________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ ______Lynn's involvement in the creation of SpiralBridge Writers Guild was a creative awakening to not only the literary arts, but also a tidal wave of songwriting, crafting lyrics with meaning, from the heart of human experience. Writing and playing for guitar since 2001, still with the same objective: following the creative energy that guided her onto the path of singer/songwriter. Lynn Rosenthal continues to re-define and refine her unique guitar style and lyrical sensibilities while somehow managing to sound familiar to the ear. She also seems to be fond of writing about herself in the third person.Having played at many familiar and well-known venues in the New York City and metropolitain New Jersey areas, including The C-Note, The Cutting Room, Upstairs at Red, CBGB's Gallery,The Actor's Institute, Uncommon Grounds, Luna Stage, and SpiralBridge, Lynn relocated to beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico in October of 2005. She continues to write music and perform occasionally. Mostly she just hangs out with her faithful pups, Yoko, Oh NO! the Japanese Shiba Inu, and John Lennon, the Australian Shepherd mix.
