The 3rd annual 2007 festival will be Sunday, August 19th, 2007 from 12pm - 6pm in the West Hollywood Park which is located at 647 N. San Vicente Boulevard. $10.
Now entering its 3rd year, the Serafemme Queer Women of Color Music Festival is a groundbreaking 6-hour long outdoor festival showcasing 17 artists of various genres including hip-hop, r&b, acoustic, soul, funk & spoken word in addition to arts, crafts and food vendors. Past sponsors have included: the City of West Hollywood (returning in 2007), Christopher Street West (pending), GLAAD (pending) and the June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives (returning). Serafemme 2007 more than doubled its inaugural audience and yielded over 500 women in attendance. The festival garnered media exposure in Tomboyz Quarterly, dot Magazine and LN Magazine. This year, the festival is being considered for network broadcast.
