Sara Ann Cull, Auchmithie, is currently completing her BA (Hons) Scottish Music at the RSAMD. Sara's playing covers a wide variety of styles, and she has recently returned from a one semester student exchange with the East Tennessee State University, where she studied Old Time, Bluegrass and Country music.
Heather Downie began playing Scottish Harp at the age of 15 and was immediately accepted into Splore Traditional Music Course AIYF. She now studies alongside Sara at the RSAMD working towards her BA (Hons) Scottish Music.
Together they form the up and coming duo ‘A Little Bit Of Somethin’. Their music has taken them as far afield as Canada, Germany, Denmark and St. Louis Missouri. Their music explores their traditional roots focusing on Scottish music but they are known for adding their ‘little bit of somethin’ and are influenced by many music genres.
