Cyanide & Happiness @ Explosm.netI have had people tell me that they just KNOW the character Mandy from the cartoon "The Grim Adventures of Mandy and Billy" HAD to have been patterened off my childhood....as a preteen/teen it was Daria Morgendorfer from "Daria"....and as I advance in age - it's going to be Maxine from the cartoon. Or maybe Dorothy Zbonak from "The Golden Girls". Maybe I'll just get the hooded cape and scythe and go spook a few people. BOO!!

My Interests

Given that I have an attention span of a fruit fly on crack - - I love meeting new friends online - especially ones that can make me laugh - - eastern philosophy - supervising cookie making for the current dark side promotion - - crafts - pets - exposing lack of common sense and ego deflation - penguins and cows (individually that is!) - - and just about anything else that doesn't involve permanent bodily injury or death (although I have the fast track on hooking your soul up should death sashay through) - - I don't always say what I really think - but if you see me laughing seemingly for no apparent reason - - you now know why! I'm trying to find my niche still - that one thing I'm really good at (rather than finding something that interests me but that a friend then can do with ease and much better - sigh) - - and then there is that dilemna of being kicked to the dark side yet having that sense of civic duty - talk about a paradoxical dichotomy in action! My mind is a sponge and I love to learn - and then I wring out my brain and learn it all over again - with all the bands I love as the constant soundtrack! And after 12 scorpion stings - several squooshed heart incidents and being slimed by an affectionate cow - - it's probably just as well that I don't have a magic wand!! Boo ya and oooo rah (and of coursee) woo sah!!!

Cyanide & Happiness @ Explosm.netJust about any music except the world famous yodeling frenzied banjo metal-bluegrass accordian songsters(Weird Al is the one exception to this ironclad accordian rule) - currently in my cd player and on mp3 is Velvet Mafia Band and Dean and the Weenies and DMB and the Cure and Keith Anderson - and all kinds of jazz and old school funk and a splash-n-dash of county and shake of pop tunes and...well oodles of ANY AND EVERYTHING - - just seemed like that kinda day! Especially if you throw in some Eric Michael Hopper - a whoooooole lotta DEEK MOORE and BILL RICE with some Jas Patrick and Steven Leslie plus some Addictions and Steve Virginia..oh and Knothead....you see where this is going....I love it ALLLLL (see the above rule with Weird Al exception!)!!!!!!!!

AND THIS IS WHERE THE BANNERS FOR DEEK MOORE AND BILL RICE BAND WILL GO WHEN THEY HAVE THEM AVAILABLE TO POST!!! =)

My heroes? Those that lay it on the line every single day for their country and fellow man....hey even if I got kicked to the dark side by a cowardly one who claims to be pure and a do-gooder (whatEVAH!!) - - I can still give props to the REAL brave heroes out there. I support the troops wherever they are stationed on the planet - and the guys and gals in blue (green/brown/whatever color the uniform) - esp Dallas (c'mon - JD Byas is thhe coolest)/Detroit/KCMO Swat and their kick @$$ theme song!!!!!! (Ok and the free cookies on the dark side were a lure too!)
