World Wide Word Radio Network

WWWRN rocks the word!

About Me

We are World Wide Word Radio Network. The intent of our group is to bring together a community of writers so that we can share honest thoughts and ideas about each other's writing. Our mission is to encourage you to expand your talents and become the best writer you can be through suggested reading, tips, advice and honest evaluation of any work which is submitted.
Censorship will be frowned upon. To censor is to suppress the true expression of a writer.

To quote one of our members, Nathan (aka Left & Leaving), regarding our new direction...
"mean it this time" - Nathan

Thank you Nathan. We plan to!

and our new site:

Books:

What are we reading?
Some new books recently read by Stacey Mangiaracina that you may want to check out:
"Forty-Five: Poems" by Frieda Hughes
For those of you who are not aware of who Frieda Hughes is, she is the daughter of Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes. This book is an extremely vivid detail in which she takes the reader step-by-step through the difficult and inspirational events that defined each year of her life. Highly suggested read.
Bowery Women Poems
Quite possibly one of the best anthology books ever! An incredibly diverse book which offers all types of writing from famous and not so famous (yet) poets. Everyone should have this book. Pick yours up today at Amazon.com!
"Sleeping With Houdini" by Nin Andrews from BOA Editions What an amazing collection of poetry! Noted to be "Outrageous, scandalous and beautiful" by Tim Seibles, this book has truly captured our attention.
"Broken Hallelujahs" by Sean Thomas Dougherty from BOA Editions Sean Thomas Dougherty has been described as a "standing" poet. A poet of the people. His rhythm speaks volumes in every piece. Definitely a man who walks to an addictive beat.
"I Carry A Hammer In My Pocket For Occasions Such As These" by Anthony Tognazzini from BOA Editions This book has it all. It's life at its fullest on paper. From love to tragedy, surreal scenes and metaphor...definitely a bit of tongue-in-cheek. Anthony takes us on a nice ride that makes it hard to walk away from.
Thank you to BOA Editions for such incredible work. You can purchase these books and any other BOA Editions releases at www.BOAEditions.org
"The Bad Wife Handbook" by Rachel Zucker from Wesleyan University Press Beautifully written book with an incredible amount of honesty that people should identify with. It's a book of comfort in knowing you're not the only one who has felt this way. She invites you into tastes, smells and sounds, awakening all your senses. Thank you Wesleyan for such an amazing book.
What are you reading? Let us know!
