Books, books, books, books, books, books, books, and books.
Apart from books....authors, writers, poets, and intelligent people interested in words, or math. People who make me laugh! Theatre. Music. Philosophy. Digging up the ocean floor, and if you're interested in exactly what I mean by that--message me and I'll explain!!!

I'd like to meet:
There are so many interesting people the world over. Have to admit....I'm a sucker for intelligence. (And no, intelligence does not necessarily equate college degrees and vice versa!) People who are open to new ideas, people who have new ideas to present to me...non-judgmental people; these are the kind of people I'd like to meet! I wouldn't mind meeting people from Ireland, either...especially if they can speak the Irish and would be willing to give me a few lessons!!! ~smiles~
Still Here.....Lost an Uncle...Though you're gone, Kevin, you live on in me--always!

Movies:
I enjoy going to the movies!!! Just don't get there as often as I'd like! Love dramas, comedys (providing they're not just the stupid kind!), sci fi/fantasy, some romance (aka chick flick), like the sports themed movies like Rudy, can watch some mystery/suspence/thriller movies if I have at least one willing soul to watch with it who doesn't mind me jumping, clinging and at times screaming out of sheer terror. Horror/gore/even war movies are a no-go. I can even appreciate Disney (their better flicks)and musicals like Chicago and Rent!
Television:
I don't get much time to watch TV....especially when school is in session....but I do get to see some of my faves, thanks to the wonders of technology and my DVR!!
*Battlestar Galactica--the best show on TV right now!!
*4400
*Dead Zone
(No, I don't like Sci Fi at all!!!)
*CSI, CSI Miami
*Law & Order SVU,CI
*Def Poetry
*Survivor (it's my one reality show indulgence!)
OK....so that's like a lot......but really, I don't watch a lot of TV--their seasons don't all coincide, so that helps!.....Besides, I'm too busy with other things. School, reading, writing, people....
Heroes:
I still question whether there are any heroes left...but if there are....my hero is without a doubt, Thor.
