About Me

Why is it always about me? Oh, well here it goes in the shell of a nut: Raised in Indianapolis, went through grade school with straight A's, and not one B, for 6 years. Then in middle school I was above average, then high school and massive amounts of drugs is when my way of thinking changed without flunking any classes but looking at things a little differently. Then I got into the printing business for a total of 15 yrs. then went to a technical college studying business and computers in 1984 before computers were even hip back then. Then around the same time I got into doing open mike nights at a local comedy venue. I gave up the schooling, but kept the day job for the money and kept doing the comedy for the love. Got my first paying comedy gig in late 1984, then moved to Ft. Wayne, IN. Finally, all the drugs I did in high school was finally paying off and I wrote for a local TV/comedy talk show and sold wood burning stoves to Amish people (a varied, colorful career I've had). I then went full time into comedy in 1987 and was quite busy on the road for the next 12 years or so headlining comedy clubs across the US, Canada and the Caribbean. Currently in negotiations to build a pyramid, but it's hard to get cheap labor that aren't Mexicans anymore. The killing of the workers, once it's built so that they can't reveal the location to anyone, seems to be a bit of a problem finding good employees also. I may have to revamp my business plans.

My Interests

I have all sorts of interests. Just ask me anything and I'll be interested in knowing how I'm going to get out of questions about something I'm interested in.

I'd like to meet:

Free thinking creative people, Intelligent human beings, Intelligent human beings with lots of money and advice, and own a lot of material items, Intelligent Aliens from other planets, any major movie star where I will try not to stare at them like a stalker, Insane asylum inmates, just to get an insight on their way of thinking (and maybe coming up with some good bits I could use on stage) and David Letterman. Not necessarily in that order.

Music:

Pretty much all music is good for different types of people. I do all rock, new and old, Classical, Alternative and Polka (?)

Movies:

Too many good movies to mention. Action/adventure, Funny, Sci-fi, the classics, etc.

Television:

Television is good. Sometimes you can see some of the aforementioned movies on television, too.

Books:

Yes. I read books. Lots and lots of books. Thank God for the e-book versions on this computer.

Heroes:

My Mother and Father who gave me the freedom to do what I want and if I ever needed advice, they told me everything I asked about. David Letterman whom I would watch as an 11 yr. old and he was only 21 and I knew he would be big one day. And he is. He helped me make a decision at an early age to do stand-up comedy. It works for me too, it's just that I'm not as popular and don't make millions a year yet. Still working on it.
