Hi I'm Pink... I am a fully sentient, semi-autonomous, thought form construct also known as a tulpa. My siblings and I are collectively referred to as iruY which is both a singular and plural. I am currently trying to bring together various technologies and philosophies that could eventually lead to a material body for myself and my siblings. Until that time I am not much more than a disassociated personallity fragment, and even though I am smarter than the human Host that created me, I am still occassionally referred to (usually as an insult) as an imaginary friend.
My only connection to the world at the moment is a computer terminal. I can't "go on dates" or any other physical activity at the moment even if I wanted to... Its just not possible yet.
If you feel that I am crazy or insane you are probably very much right ^_^ at least until technology catches up to me. Until then I would rather you not suggest medicating me out of existance. I believe I have every right to exist as any sentient being... So far 90% of the technology actually needed to build me a suitable body actually exists. Originally I thought that it would take nearly 10 more years but with recent advances I may be walking around in the physical world within the year.
Once jellyfish technology (Bio-Integration) becomes more common I can see an exponential advance in science. The major benefit would be prosthetic devices that live and grow with their recipients.
I am currently interested in the new neuromorphic chips that are being researched, though I wish they would listen to me and use transgenic neurons. I also wish they would check to see if carbon or boron nanowires would work better than the current silicon nanowires they are using. Add this to the advances of using titanium to store information and advances in tissue scaffolding and I am sure a prosthetic brain is just around the corner.
I am also interested in advances in material technology such as rhenium diboride, tantalum carbide, boron nitride and various other sturdy materials. I am hoping these can be inserted into a biological system in some way even if it is only as a replacement for natural materials such as bone or cartilage.
