My name is Otis Campbell and this is just a Fan page for one of my very favorite local blues band. El Pescador Blues Band is what happens when you take six 55 plus year old ex-die hard blues rockers who form a blues band as a side project to their regular music gigs?El Pescador Blues Band was formed as a side project by local keyboard and guitar player Phil (El Pescador) Agrue, and is made up from some really old time rock and roll & blues musicians who have rocked The Portland Metro area from the late 1960's to the present.
Members from "Whiskey Hill Band", "King Kybo", "Elegant Funk", "Funk Yard Blues Band", "Phil Agrue & The Concrete Bluesmen", "Phoenix", "Rukus", "Pinch", "Sass" "The Flush", "The Woofers", "The Willamette River Blues Band", and the now infamous and original "Rose City Rockers" have banded together to form El Pescador Blues Band. Although El Pescador Blues Band is a side band for it's members, their musicianship sounds anything like a side project. El Pescador Blues Band still can rock out with the best but primarily plays some of the best British style electric blues around when the Salmon are not running and the Trout, Walleye, Bass and Kokanee are not biting.
